My talk will focused on normal conducting RF cavities R&D for
muon cooling channels (study-II design). There are two aspects on this R&D. First is how to build and engineering
such cavities for muon cooling channels and second is how to operate them, namely operating the cavity under strong
external magnetic fields. I will introduce what we have done, what challenges we are facing, what progress we have
made, and what's our plan.
