Strong-strong Beam-beam Simulations in Hadron and Lepton Colliders
Ji Qiang
Lawrence Berkeley National Lab

Beam-beam interactions put a serious constraint on the luminosity limit of modern colliders. An accurate simulation of the beam-beam interaction will help to optimize the luminosity in the colliders. In this talk, we will give an overview of the physical model and the computational method used in a beam-beam simulation code. We will also discuss applications to the study of the emittance growth and luminosity limit in hadron and lepton colliders.
