Agenda

  1. Preparation for Feb 13th restart
    1. Current decks status/CED status
    2. OTR in Hall A to be added (yves)
    3. BSY dump added to CED, segmentation checked.
    4. Hall B model for upcoming run
tief adding a skew quad to beamline
    5. Inclusion of 5th pass separation
      ready (Yves)
    6. Allsave/CED crosscheck tool
      Theo Larrieu
  2. Tesplans review
    1. What is left to do and prioritize it
Review testplans and close/update as needed
  3. Mid to long term model development
    1. Prepare for summer 2016 run (two halls at five pass with one recirculation)
      Yves, Jay working on it.
    2. Integrate injector model with CEBAF model
Will resurrect discussions with Alicia and injector group (Yves)
    3. Dogleg focussing studies. Does it have to be included in model ?
    4. Develop procedure to crosscheck measured body gradient with machine.
Can be an ATLIS. So far, ARC1 and ARC2 are the only ones for which we adjusted
the body gradient from machine measurements.
    5. Feature requests for operational tools (EDT,elegant,etc..)
      1. EDT to have support for loading alternate optics via SDDS
      2. qSUtility to support zigzag scans
    6. Inclusion of multipole in model. Where is it needed ?
Recent measurements/TOSCA show that Lambertson has a big quad and skew quad component
    7. Study of effect of orbits in spreader/recombiner on
      1. First and second order dispersion terms
    8. Linac accelerating profiles loaded into model
      1. Evaluate effect on focussing and need to rematch at spreader
  4. Develop performance metrics for model improvement
i.e sum of squares of dispersion correction quads delta,
tune time per arc, etc.. needs to be fleshed out and written down to eventually
    have tools to support this.
