Agenda and Notes

1. Operations Status and Summary

Recovery Plans. Still diagnosing/checking Cryo issues. Definite sensor wire connection failure. Only 4 K work over the summer; probably no 2 K ops until late summer. Still need to open up cold box and look to make sure no damage. Cryo Review first week June to help on cryo operations turnon.

Twenty years plan for meeting performance and maintaining 12 GeV performance. Gradient Achievement and maintenance plans being developed. Need 8 New C75 modules over 5 years. 37 weeks/yr goal. Obsolescence plan will also be included (old analogue to digital) Presentation in two weeks. Potential new cold box in plan (calling infrastructure might make funding easier).

4 K running might be OK for addressing operability issues. More extensive running may be in the offing.

2. "Staytreat" Discussion

Preliminary topics list have been uploaded. Meeting has been drifting back towards end of summer. Now August 2-3.

3. Performance of C57

Gradients of two reworked "C57" cavities are topping out in mid-teens of cavity gradient.

Full upgrades of LLRF and klystrons not needed (still probably like hot klystrons on these cavities).

Presentation next week.

4. Backing Pump Discussion

Additional data mining performed.

Gigi and Marcy looked at geometry and suggested pump reorientation.

5. Lead Collars (Legg)

Lead Collars for C100s

Radiation shielding at end of C100s has been explored by Legg. preliminary design has been completed. goal to help save girders.

New module will be C57. More planning for the 2018 Module needed.

4. Particulates reporting; SRF in Dirty Machine Workshop: HZB. Josh, Tom, and Thomas in two weeks.
