Electron Beam Polarization Measurements using the Hall B Moller Polarimeter

Kyungseon Joo
JLab

A Moller Polarimeter has been used to measure the longitudinal polarization of the electron beam at the Hall B of Jefferson Lab. I will review the details of polarization measurements and systematic studies for the Hall B Moller Polarimeter. The measured beam polarization depends on the target polarization, the analyzing power of Moller scattering and the measured helicity-dependent asymmetry. The determination of these factors will be discussed along with higher order corrections and uncertainties.
