The mini-series originated from the presentations made to Dave Sutter
and Bruce Strauss back in December 2001. It is intended as a
short introduction to the physics and concepts underlying SRF accelerators,
namely superconduuctivity and electromagnetic cavities.
Part II will address the ideas behind BCS, its results, and the basic
concepts of electromagnetic cavities.
