Research Highlights:

  • Contribution to Jefferson Lab. accelererators and experimental halls beam instrumentation (1993-present)
  • Demonstrated with CEBAF beam that the intrinsic resolution of transition radiation is not limited to λ/γ at high energies (Jefferson Lab. 1995)
  • Designed the beam instrumentation for the "Sincrotrone Trieste", a 3rd generation light source (Trieste, 1993)
  • Designed and built SLC beam position monitor electronics to bring the two beams in interaction (SLAC, 1987)
  • Designed the beam instrumentation for the Super-ACO light source (Orsay, 1982)
  • Invented and applied the concept of switched electrodes electronics for beam position monitors (Orsay 1976)
  • Invented two types of coherent oscillators for radar applications (Thomson-CSF, 1972)
